The XL Retro Series on is in full swing 888poker and is gearing up for another weekend of huge poker action. This Sunday sees a host of Mystery Bounty tournaments get underway on the platform, with the $200,000 guaranteed XL Retro #13 – Mystery Bounty being the pick of the bunch.
Mystery Bounty tournaments have made the quite the impression on 888poker, with ambassador Alexandre “Cavalito” Mantovani stating the platform has nailed their integration of the popular format.
The site ran its first Mystery Bounty tournament just a few weeks ago and was a huge success. The online event nearly doubled its $100,000 guarantee and saw almost 2,000 entries!
XL Retro Series Mystery Bounty Tournaments
On Sunday, three Mystery Bounty tournaments kick off with the first beginning at 5:30 p.m. UTC. The $55 Sunday Mystery Bounty comes with a 40,000 guarantee and sees mystery bounties come into play at the start of Level 17. The biggest bounty has been confirmed at $4,000 for this event and comes with a $55 buy-in.
The second Mystery Bounty event is the biggest of the weekend and starts. 30 minutes after the one above. The buy-in for this increases to $215 but comes with a six-figure guarantee ($200,000) and sees the top bounty prize rise to $20,000! Those with smaller bankrolls will still be able to take part thanks to XL Retro #15: $33 Mini Mystery Bounty. The $33 buy-in means anyone can take part in the fun and gets underway at 7 p.m. UTC. $2,000 is the biggest mystery bounty in this event.
For the XL Retro Mystery Bounty tournaments, the bounties come into play from Level 18.

Direct satellites for the $33 and $55 buy-in editions of the tournament begin at $5.50 which can help stretch limited bankrolls further.
