PokerStars Reveals New Dates for EPT Prague; Add EPT Online December 8-20

EPT Online

At the end of November, news broke that new pandemic restrictions put in place by the Czech Republic government forced the postponement of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague, which was originally set to run December 8-19 at King’s Casino at the Hilton Prague.

Recently, officials announced the EPT Prague will run from March 5-16, 2022 at the Hilton Hotel Prague.

“With player and staff comfort and health a top priority, PokerStars had previously made the decision to postpone EPT Prague 2021 due to the ongoing situation in the Czech Republic and in accordance with local government guidance,” PokerStars said. “After much consideration, the decision has now been made to move the much-loved European Poker Tour stop to March, where PokerStars hopes to run a safe and enjoyable event for the PokerStars community.”

The full schedule for March’s EPT Prague will be released in the near future.

EPT Prague has a rich and storied history dating back to December 2007. Since then, the festival has grown to be one of the most popular stops on the European Poker Tour.

He added: “We know that there is a huge demand from the PokerStars community to see our live events return in full and we are excitedly working towards that, but we must be flexible along the way to ensure our players stay safe and healthy, and the experience is an unforgettable one for all the right reasons.
